Work begins on Empower's Al Jaddaf headquarters

The $76.2million building is expected to be inaugurated in Q1 of 2021.

Empower has announced the beginning of construction of its headquarters in Al Jaddaf, Dubai.

The $76.2million building is expected to be inaugurated in Q1 of 2021.

The HQ includes two 10-storey buildings - an office building and a residential building - and both will have a three-storey underground parking facilities as well as shops.

The headquarters will be built according to the LEED Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council, which is internationally recognised to assess the design, construction, and operation of environmentally-friendly and high performance buildings.

“Through this new project, we are promoting our investments and offering customers innovative solutions to provide them with a seamless experience,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, Empower CEO.

“Design, construction, and operation of environmentally-friendly and high-performance buildings have been taken into consideration in the designing of both the buildings, to support the preservation of the environment, combat climate change, and support national and global sustainability standards.

“The new headquarters is a new chapter in our journey towards expansion, and supports our continuous growth strategy.”
