Empower says it has enhanced the capability of its command control centre (CCC) for district cooling plants by establishing a ‘parallel working environment’ (PWE) system.

All of the firm’s 75 plant rooms across Dubai are currently connected to and controlled by its centrally located CCC, from which operatives closely monitor processes.

The PWE will act as a backup to the CCC, and allow remote operation of facilities, part of a strategy to ensure continuity and close visibility of systems.
