As many as 888 new homes are being developed by UAE authorities at Batteen Al Samar Residential District in the northern emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
The homes are being developed under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, Trade News Arabia reported.
The project is located along the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and will be built in three phases, said Jameela Al Fandi, the head of the Committee of Services Coordination and director-general of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.
Phase One will witness the construction of 354 houses located on a 905,000 m2 plot of land, 240 houses on an area of 521,000 m2 in the next phase and 294 houses located on an estimated land area of 780,000 m2 in the final phase, she stated.
The project features five modern residential model units that meet the highest international standard.
It is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2020, she added.
