Engineering, environmental and advisory services firm GHD announced the appointment of Simon Light as its new general manager for Europe and the Middle East.
Simon will be responsible for continuing to drive GHD’s growth trajectory, supporting the delivery of GHD’s business transformation, innovation and diversification programmes in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and globally.
Simon brings with him a wealth of international experience, and has showcased leadership and impressive business performance across multiple geographies. In his previous role as executive director client development – EME at Arcadis, he has led a number of major client business integration programs resulting in improved performance and the delivery of fresh thinking to meet the evolving needs of clients.
As general manager EME, Simon will join the firm’s global Executive Management Group, working closely with all regions in developing GHD’s global client portfolio, providing diversified offerings to existing clients and prospective clients. Simon will start his new role with GHD from February 2019.
