Leading international physical assets management and construction consultancy Currie & Brown has appointed Ian Robinson as the chief operating officer of its Middle East business.
Robinson was formerly the managing director of Lendlease Europe’s consulting group for the EMEA and management board partner of Gardiner & Theobald.
A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building with an MBA, Robinson’s career spans more than 30 years, mainly in EMEA.
Specialising in project management, Robinson has led projects across infrastructure, investments, and construction — both on the consulting and contractor side.
Welcoming Robinson to the business, the company’s group chief executive officer, Euan McEwan, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ian to the business. We continue to attract great talent and I am looking forward to working with Ian, who will play an important role as part of the company’s senior leadership team."
Robinson said: “It gives me great pleasure to lead the talented Currie & Brown Middle East team. Over the last 30 years the company has built an excellent reputation in the region and has a great platform of existing clients.
“We will continue to serve them with a quality service, introducing new service lines to support them to deliver their projects efficiently. I am looking forward to bringing my expertise in advisory services and programme management to the business.”
