AECOM has appointed Raj Hanspaul to director of program management and construction management (PMCM) in the UAE and Oman.
Hanspaul will head a team of 160 in AECOM’s PMCM practice, overseeing activities ranging from planning, coordination, scheduling, and cost control, to design, construction, and commissioning.
Hanspaul said: “Having lived the in UAE for seven years, this appointment, which coincides with the UAE developing infrastructure to support the next 50 years of growth, comes at a very exciting time.
“I look forward to working with the PMCM team, and collaborating with key clients across the UAE and Oman to contribute to the legacies of the two countries.”
Hanspaul has more than 16 years of experience in the construction industry, including 12 years of delivering programmes with AECOM.
Prior to his new role, he was the project director for community infrastructure programs in the UAE, including the Cranleigh School, The Galleria mall extension, and most recently Yas Acres, a project for which he will retain oversight.
