Jake Chadwick has been named UAE construction director for UK-based contractor ISG.
Chadwick will manage delivery teams working across the firm’s project portfolio in technology, corporate office, education, leisure, hospitality, and healthcare.
The new construction director will also lead the firm’s construction team and deploy new and innovative construction technologies in the UAE to increase the firm’s operational efficiencies.
Speaking on the appointment, general manager of ISG Middle East, Scott McCulloch, said: “Jake has made a strong impact on the business since he transferred from the UK last year, proving instrumental in building innovative and high-performing project teams, nurturing a culture of collaboration and importantly, prioritizing and strengthening relationships with our customers.”
In November 2019, ISG completed engineering and fit-out works for the Abu Dhabi Youth Hub, which claims to be the largest youth centre in the UAE.
October 2019 saw the contractor secure a fit-out contract for the new campus of University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), with the six-floor structure in Dubai Knowledge Park due to open in September 2020 ahead of Expo 2020.
Chadwick succeeds ISG’s long-serving construction director, Stephen Martin.
