MEP Awards 2018: QTM Energy Performance Contract wins Retrofit Project of the Year

The award focused improving of existing buildings with energy efficiency equipment and on new technologies adopted, or existing ones refined, which maximises energy efficiency and safety.

The Retrofit Project of the Year award went to QTM Energy Performance Contract for its Jumeirah Creekside and Aviation Club project.

This award focused improving of existing buildings with energy efficiency equipment and on new technologies adopted, or existing ones refined, which maximises energy efficiency and safety.

QTM is an Energy Services Company (ESCO) offering financed bespoke energy efficiency and renewable energy services. For Jumeirah Creekside and Aviation Club, the company help reduce cooling consumption by 20% within the first year, eliminated the annual BMS maintenance cost and gave revenue assurance for tenant billing.

QTM was the first consultant approved under Dubai Electricity and Water Authority's list of electrical and solar PV consultants and contractors. QTM completed in June 2015 the first DEWA approved solar PV project under the Shams Dubai first initiative as part of the Distributed Reneawable Resources Generation program.
