Ramboll says Mahmoud Hameed’s technical ability has massively benefited the team, with his ability to create conceptual design calculation tools that provide overall building loads and plant spacing improving the efficiency of submitting projects by 50%.

Hameed has designed two high-rise hotels, four and five-stars, along with residential apartments and offices from concept to schematic design.

Each design consisted of district cooling, ventilation of centralised laundry and commercial kitchens, centralised hot water, smoke control, centralised heating system, and gas distribution system.

Specifically, over the past 12 months, he has shown great initiative in leading the mechanical team for a 44-storey five-star luxury mixed-use tower operated by Waldorf Astoria from concept to tender stage.

He collaborated with other disciplines, initiated co-ordination and client meetings, and addressed client comments successfully.

As a result, Ramboll was awarded a contract for a one million square metre mall and two high-rise mixed-use towers with the same client.
