Empower organises blood donation drive in conjunction with UAE National Day and Commemoration Day

More than 370 donors were participated in the drive and 25 were platelets donors among the participants.

Empower has organised a blood donation drive for Dubai Blood Donation Centre at Latifa Hospital in Dubai, in co-operation with Blood Donors Kerala – UAE.

The campaign was held in conjunction with Commemoration Day and the 48th National Day, to reflect the cohesion between citizens and residents in the UAE.

“The huge turnout in blood donation campaigns fosters social solidarity and reflects the noble values of the Emirati society,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

“These values were established by the UAE’s wise leadership, to promote the act of blood donation to support and help the community members.

“Organising blood donation campaigns is a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. Empower has organised many campaigns, in cooperation with various public and private organisations.”
