Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA) is working with LS Korean Cables Company to secure the development of old networks and future expansion projects.

SEWA chairman Dr Eng Rashid Al Leem hosted a recent delegation of representatives from the Korean firm, during which the two parties discussed areas of mutual co-operation.

Al Leem reviewed a number of SEWA’s strategic plans and the efforts of the authority to introduce best international standards to the Emirate.

For his part, the head of the Korean delegation reviewed LS Cable Company's experience in the application of quality systems, protection and inspections to ensure the quality of products, devices and equipment used by the company in the manufacture of globally competitive products.
