Transguard donates its VAT to Emirates Red Crescent charity for Ramadan

Transguard Living's donation of VAT from select services comes as part of its CSR programme for Ramadan 2019

Dubai's Transguard Living, the consumer division of Emirates Group-owned facilities management and security company Transguard Group, is donating its value-added tax (VAT) from one-year or annual contracts for maintenance and cleaning; two-year contracts for maid services, wherein VAT donations apply to the first year; and local moves – to Emirates Red Crescent as part of its Ramadan 2019 initiatives.

Commenting on the programme, Transguard Group's director of marketing and corporate social responsibility, Lena ter Laare, said: “Our Ramadan initiative, which is the first of its kind, enables our customers to be a part of the donation drive, and we look forward to supporting Emirates Red Crescent.”
