Dubai's Transguard Living, the consumer division of Emirates Group-owned facilities management and security company Transguard Group, is donating its value-added tax (VAT) from one-year or annual contracts for maintenance and cleaning; two-year contracts for maid services, wherein VAT donations apply to the first year; and local moves – to Emirates Red Crescent as part of its Ramadan 2019 initiatives.
Commenting on the programme, Transguard Group's director of marketing and corporate social responsibility, Lena ter Laare, said: “Our Ramadan initiative, which is the first of its kind, enables our customers to be a part of the donation drive, and we look forward to supporting Emirates Red Crescent.”
Transguard Group's managing director, Greg Ward, added: “Every year, Ramadan offers a wonderful opportunity to give to the less fortunate, and we are excited to partner with our customers for a great cause.
“Everyone benefits, because not only will our customers enjoy our excellent service, they’ll do so in the knowledge that they were simultaneously able to help.”
Transguard is a sister company of Emirates Airline and part of Emirates Group.
