Berkeley has been recognised by Dubai World Central Airport (DWC Airport) for achieving 1 million safe man hours.
The firm has been providing MEP services to DWC Airport since 2014.
A spokesperson from Berkeley told fmME, “It’s an achievement we are extremely proud of. We would not have achieved this milestone without the support of Dubai Airports.”
Dubai Airports and Berkeley Services organised a ceremony at the airport to thank all its stakeholders and participants who contributed towards achieving the milestone.
Ali Bin Salman, head of engineering at DWC Airport and the airport’s FM Manager Abdul Aziz were present at the function along with other key members from both organisations.
Berkeley’s senior management including managing director Ralf Zerenner, senior operations director Jiji Francis, head of maintenance Enrico Menzel and project manager at DWC Mathavan G. were present during the function.
