Sultan Al Mehairi, Director of Information Services and Engagement at QCC, said: “I would like to thank all the teams participating in the inspection campaigns carried out by the Council during 2018, as they have made remarkable efforts during the process. The Council is keen to carry out inspection campaigns as a part of its ongoing efforts to improve the quality infrastructure and complement the emirate's ability to excel at a global level while achieving the Council's mission to lead, facilitate and develop the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure. This will promote the culture of quality, industrial development, competitiveness and product safety.”

Sultan Al Mehairi explained that the Council is keen to apply quality standards and regulations to the highest international standards and ensure that suppliers, workers and traders in all sectors comply with these standards. The Council also encourages companies and employees in the industrial and commercial sectors to apply for the ‘AD Trustmark’, which promotes the trust of customers in the products. It also contributes to the Council's efforts to establish Abu Dhabi Emirate as a world-class investment destination with quality infrastructure.

QCC is the first Government entity in Abu Dhabi to be accredited with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012 in measurement scales verification, which in turn reflects the council’s commitment to the aspirations of the wise leadership in achieving the objectives of the UAE Vision 2021.
