UAE-based Al Shirawi Group has formed a landmark joint venture with Germany’s Gildemeister Energy Solutions GmbH to advance the development and deployment of solar energy solutions in the UAE.

The Gildemeister Al Shirawi Energy Solutions joint venture specialises in utility-scale projects and focuses on the planning, development and construction of turnkey free-space plants and their operations. The joint venture brings global expertise in renewable energy into the UAE marketplace, thereby supporting the nation’s relentless pursuits for a greener future. It will also benefit the Group’s complementary businesses in the construction sector, especially its facilities management arm that is set to play a leadership role in solar energy management.
