MEP firm Trans Gulf Electromechanical is being realigned as a unit that will focus primarily on its parent company Al Naboodah Construction Group (ANCG).
David Evans, group chief executive officer (CEO) of ANCG, told Construction Week: "Trans Gulf is being repositioned as an internally focused division primarily servicing ANCG's Civil Engineering and Building division’s portfolio of projects, as well as selected external opportunities.
"There are no changes to the Trans Gulf company name or identity, nor to Trans Pro’s trading position within the group. Trans Gulf is fully committed to delivering all current projects for our valued clients."
Trans Gulf's services include air-conditioning and ventilation, as well as electrical and low current systems, in addition to wet services such as plumbing and drainage. Trans Pro is its safety division.
Last year, Trans Gulf deployed Trimble robotic technology on its Downtown Dubai project. The project required the construction of four structures: a 10-storey office tower, a 25-storey residential tower, a 25 storey hotel and serviced apartment tower, and a podium with underground car parking.
