HVACR trade between Turkey and UAE to grow by 4.5%

The UAE imported $44.3m (AED162.7m) worth of Turkish heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) products in 2016, TIM TTC Gulf Consulting FZE has revealed in a statement.

The company, which operates the Turkish Trade Centre for the HVACR sector, said that this number is expected to grow by 4.5% in 2017.

Serdar Kumbaraci, country manager for the UAE at TIM TTC Gulf Consulting, commented: “Our TTC participant companies in the HVACR sector have established long-term relationships with UAE companies to [enable] them to utilise the best technological solutions for their needs.

According to the company, a growing number of Turkish companies are establishing operations in the UAE, in anticipation of Expo 2020 Dubai.

The number of companies under TTC has reportedly reached 33, as of November 2017.
