0.00 What does your role involve?
I am the general manager of Adeeb Group, controlling the complete operations of our facilities management, MEP and ELV divisions. I have been continuously exploring the various technical developments in the FM segment and making my fullest contribution in achieving the requirements of various sectors in the UAE.
1.05 Where do you see the FM industry in five years?
The FM industry has grown drastically with the concept of sustainability in all its operations. All FM companies are taking measures to adopt the changes that have been taking place with the inception of green initiatives in buildings. In five years time, the whole community will depend on the FM sector as they are a part of it; hence, FM will become a leading requirement of modern society.
1.55 What do you love most about your job?
I love to be busily engaged with satisfying our clients’ needs and expectations. The most desirable part of my job is experiencing the clients’ satisfaction upon providing them with quality services that make them feel safe and secure.
2.12 What has been your most memorable project and why?
The most memorable project for our Adeeb is Sama Tower, which was awarded to us in 2011. The 50-storey tower was, at the time, the tallest commercial and residential building in Abu Dhabi. We have been awarded the Sama Tower contract for the third consecutive year by the ADNP management, as they have evaluated us as a good performing organization.
3.44 What is the most challenging thing about your job?
The most challenging part in my role is meeting the crucial urgent requirements of our clients that can come all of a sudden, with the status of immediate disposal tasks as emergency. Adeeb has trouble-shooted many critical technical issues in a building, and that has given us a good reputation with our clients. Customers now also expect to be given services on very competitive prices, since they now have more options of FM providers to choose from.
4.25 What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to use my spare time to train and nurture the community with advice on good deeds. Besides that, I read a lot of moral and spiritual guides to acquire and impart knowledge on heavenly matters. I also like to explore ways to develop innovative methodologies and bring up our young engineers to adapt themselves to sustainable practices.
