Drake & Scull has been awarded a $30.5m contract to install mechanical, electructal and plumbing packages for a private residential development and a second college at Sabah Al-Salem University in Kuwait.
The win follows on from a $54.5m contract to install the first college at the university last year.
Drake & Scull's CEO Khaldoun Tabari said: “Kuwait remains a very important growth market for DSI and we are delighted to have been selected to execute the second college for Sabah Al- Salem University, which is considered to be one of the iconic landmarks in the education sector across the region.
"Kuwait is aggressively investing in state-of-the-art education facilities as part of a long-term commitment to enhance the literacy rate in the country and produce competent and highly skilled graduates.
"DSI aims to further capitalize on the government’s development strategy by providing advanced and tailored MEP solutions for the specific requirements of various types of educational facilities according to the most stringent quality and technical standards.”
