The showcase event for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing sector is once again on the horizon – and MEP wants you to be there.
The glitz and glamour of the 13th MEP Middle East Awards comes to town on 6 November, with the leading lights of industry recognized during a plush prize giving ceremony.
Last year’s edition marked a dozen spectacular years of rewarding the cream of the crop from across the region, and 2019 is set to go further still, hailing those who have pushed the boundary over the last 12 months.
Indeed, the MEP Middle East Awards are an opportunity to highlight the excellence in design and installation that underpin iconic projects that themselves contribute to the evolving and rapidly-maturing construction landscape in the UAE.
It is an old but valid maxim that extraordinary circumstances lead to extraordinary achievements, and the MEP Middle East Awards is the perfect occasion to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of the sector in ensuring its continued viability and innovation in light of current constraints and global economic volatility.
Last year’s winners include the likes of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, who bagged the Contractor of the Year gong; Black & White engineering, who were named Consultancy of the Year; and Burohappold Engineering, who landed GCC Project of the year for the Louvre Abu Dhabi – meaning the 2019 nominees are in fine company.
But time is running out to submit your nominations and be in with a chance of landing one of this year’s top prizes. The deadline for consideration is 4 September 2019. Visit mepmiddleeast.com/awards for details.
There are 16 categories to enter – including Mechanical Engineer of the Year, Plumbing Engineer of the Year, and Electrical Engineer of the Year – with winners handpicked by a panel of expert judges from across the sector.
Will it be lucky number 13 for you and your firm this year?
